Go to the App Store from your PCS Panel, and install Immich, from the main store.

Installing it may take a 5-10 minutes. 

If you encounter an error, it may just be that the app didn't fully install yet.

Setup the administrator of your Photos App.

As you own the app, you can choose all pre-installed features.

Want to show your vacation photos on the big screen? Select this option if you’d like to cast your images and videos to your TV using Google Cast, just like you would with Google Photos.

Perfect for family gatherings, lazy Sundays, or reliving memories from the couch.

⚠️ But heads up: enabling this feature will load Google’s cast scripts from Google’s servers. That means your Immich server will make requests to Google domains to enable this casting functionality.

If privacy is your priority and you'd prefer not to load any external Google services, you can leave this option disabled. Everything else will still work beautifully, and privately.

🗂️ Want your photos to be saved in nice, organized folders automatically?

This option lets Immich sort your files into folders like this: /Photos/2025/June/Alice

It sets up some advanced rules in the background to make this happen. If you’re comfortable editing settings, you can change how it works. If not, don’t worry! Just leave it, and Immich will organize everything for you.
